Description

This is a stainless steel trailer bolt only, measuring 1/2 inch by 1 1/4 inch in length. This bolt can be used for a wide range of purposes on trailers, including fastening hangers or other components to the trailer frame, securing brackets to an I-beam frame, and many other functions. We use these bolts in our swivel bunk bracket kits to secure the swiveling top angle to the slotted portion of the bolster bracket that installs onto your boat trailer's cross member, but you can use this bolt wherever you need a 1/2" x 1 1/4" fastener on your boat trailer, utility trailer, or elsewhere. The stainless steel construction of the bolt is perfect for use on boat trailers in particular, as it will never rust or corrode from being exposed to wet and salty conditions. If you order from this listing you will receive ONLY the stainless steel bolt, no nuts, washers, lock washers, or other hardware will be included.

Installation Note:

Use of a lithium or graphite-based lubricant is recommended during installation to prevent galling. Bolts must be tightened using hand tools ONLY and threaded on correctly. Improper threading, use of power tools, over-tightening or tightening too fast will result in galling or sticking of the bolt.
