This is a 14.25 inch Stainless Steel Roller shaft. 100% Stainless Steel, which means it will never rust! This will be the last roller shaft you ever buy! This 14.25 inch Boat Roller Stainless Steel Shaft has a 5/8 inch diameter, for fitting into 5/8 inner bore boat trailer keel rollers. These roller shafts are most commonly seen mounting the roller into a Boat Trailer Roller Bracket. The Stainless Steel Roller Shaft has a hole drilled in either end, so ideally you would use 1/8 inch x 1 inch Stainless Steel Cotter Keys to secure the roller to the shaft, holding it in place. When installing the Cotter Key all you need to do is insert it into the hole and bend it slightly to prevent it from falling out, 1 on each side of the roller shaft.
