These Trailer Lug Nuts are an Open Style, Flat Lug Nut.  Certain Wheels do better with a Coned Style Lug Nut, but Certain wheels do not.  If your Trailer Wheels have a chamfered or tapered bore where the lug nut goes, as many Aluminum Rims do, then it's recommended to use a Coned Style Lug Nut.  If your Trailer Wheels have a Flat surface for the Lug Nut, then the Flat Style Lug Nut like this one is preferred.
