Description

This is a Left Hand or driver Side Self Adjusting Electric Brake for 12,000lb to 16,000lb Capacity heavy duty Trailer Axles. When you are towing an extra high capacity trailer, in the 12,000lb+ range, it's crucial to get a brake cluster that you can trust to work for your Trailer Brakes in time of need. Electric brake clusters like this one are easier to install and offer more user control than a hydraulic brake system. This left hand side Brake Cluster measures of 12 1/4" x 5" to fit standard 12k - 16k hub and drum assemblies from axle manufacturers like Dexter and Lippert. The Brake Assembly is self adjusting, so you don't need to worry about manually adjusting the brake shoes during installation; and you can be sure these brakes will always be operating at their optimal possible performance.

This electric backing plate comes with a dust shield to protect from debris on the road and help keep dirt out of the assemblies while you are out towing. The adjuster plugs also have a convenient access hole so you don't need to worry about doing a complete disassembly for any adjustments. These High Capacity Electric Trailer Brakes Require a brake Controller and 15" or larger wheels, and will mount to axles through its standard 7 bolt mounting flange (mounting bolts are not included).
