This carrier provides a secure and convenient solution for storing a spare 5,200lb to 6,000 lb 6 bolt hub and wheel assembly, and is the perfect spare tire mount for boat trailers that utilize TDE / Dexter Eliminator style torsion axles with removable #42 spindles. The robust 1/4 inch thick construction galvanized carrier features a dedicated mount for a Vortex-style #42 removable spindle, compatible with most 6,000 lb 6-lug hubs with the standard 1 3/4" x 1 1/4" bearing combination (25580 x 15123). The removeable design allows for easy removal and installation of the entire hub and spindle, simplifying maintenance and replacement and providing additional insurance for any potential accidents or axle / hub issues on the road. The spare tire mount is constructed from hot dipped galvanized steel, so it is built to withstand harsh conditions and resist corrosion, ensuring long-lasting performance in both freshwater and saltwater environments.

Installation is straightforward, the carrier bolts directly to your trailer's I-beam through the four-hole mounting plate, typically using (4) 1/2 inch Diameter by 1 1/2 inch Long Stainless Steel Bolts (not included). You can also mount the carrier alongside the optional Galvanized Steel I-Beam Spare Tire Mounting Plate, effectively sandwiching the mount to your I-Beam frame for added strength and stability.
