Description

This Zinc Plated Enclosed Trailer Door Bar or Cam Bar is a great option for your trailer if you notice that your Trailer Door or Ramp is closing loosely or shaking while trailering. Over time, the Door Bars on Enclosed Trailers will wear out due to the pressure the door and ramp exert on them while they are closed. This causes the bars to bend slightly over time, and the door will become looser as time goes on, potentially causing a security concern. Replacing the Bar with a new one will have your Trailer Ramp or Side Door closing tightly again like it did when it was new.

This Trailer Door bar measures 36 inches end to end, and is zinc Zinc Plated so you don't have to worry about having to replace it early due to rust or corrosion. We have included measurements to the mounting hole locations in the images above to help with installation, but it may still be necessary to drill new holes when replacing your Trailer door bar. This bar does not include mounting hardware or the door latch.

A Door Bar or Cam Bar is used in tandem with a Door Latch. The Bar is installed to the Trailer and the Latch is installed to the door or ramp at the level the bar sits at. When the door or ramp is closed, the bar can be lowered onto the Latch and held in place.
