This zinc-plated Demco Model DA70 surge brake disc actuator is a perfect replacement for your boat trailer, with a 7,000 lb towing capacity and 700 lb maximum tongue weight, ideal for most tandem axle boat trailers. This surge actuator features Demco's EZ-Latch coupler for safe and simple operation, just lower the coupler onto your 2" trailer ball and the latching system will click in securely and removal is just as easy, just pull the large, easily operable latch handle and raise your trailer jack. The actuator unit comes equipped with an electric reverse lockout solenoid protected by a heavy-duty bolt-on shield, just ensure that you have the correct wiring needed to operate (either a 5 flat or 7 RV plug, which would wire the reverse light signal to the reverse lockout solenoid.) Large rollers in the rear of the unit also allow for smooth and easy actuation of the unit when in use. Demco's high-quality steel construction and zinc-plated exterior and components, along with their composite material master cylinder, make this unit an excellent corrosive resistant brake actuator for your saltwater or freshwater boat trailer.
