This listing is for a zinc-plated trailer carriage bolt with locking hex nut, the dimensions of the bolt are 1/4 inch in diameter by 1 inch in length.

This bolt and its included hardware are frequently used to secure trailer stop/turn/tail lights to the rear of the trailer. You will generally mount the light with two bolts to each light, and clamp them into place on their respective light bracket using the included hex nut.

Carriage bolts can also be used for other mounting applications, such as clamping parts together on a fifth wheel hitch, steps or rails, or snow plows; but the 1/4 inch diameter bolt is extremely common for trailer lights specifically. The zinc-plated finish is resistant to premature corrosion and rust, so they will work great on freshwater boat trailers and jet ski trailers, as well as utility trailers and other land trailers.
