Description

This 1/2 inch zinc-plated trailer drive-in hub stud replaces missing or broken studs on your 5 lug to 8 lug trailer hubs. The longer 2 1/2 inch length makes this hub stud ideal for trailer axle hubs with slip-over hydraulic brakes, as the extra length is needed to pass through the slip-on rotor and have enough threading exposed to install a lug nut. The stud is installed by hammering in the replacement stud in your hub's empty lug spot and then torquing down the stud to your hub face with a wrench to fully seat the stud allowing you to safely remount your trailer wheel. This 2 1/2 inch long stud is the ideal replacement for boat trailers or land trailers with 3,500 lb to 7,000 lb axles running slip-on brakes, allowing you to replace compromised or missing studs and safely get back on the road!
