Description

This is a double-lipped grease seal, designed to fit 1.68-inch seal surface spindles, which are generally used on some UFP axles and hubs. This is a non-standard trailer seal size, so make sure you are purchasing the correct sized seal for your trailer, if you have a standard 3,500 lb trailer spindle you will generally need a 1.72 inch ID 3500 lb Trailer Grease Seal. This seal has an outer diameter of 2.33 inches, which will fit some older or non-standard sized UFP hubs on 5 lug 3,500 lb axles. The double-lipped design helps keep grease inside of the hub to keep it well lubricated, and at the same time keep dust, water, and other intrusive materials out. You will want to double-check all of the dimensions on the parts that you are replacing so you are certain that you are replacing everything with compatible parts and keeping your trailer in safe driving condition.
