This 5/16 inch trailer safety chain has a length of 38 inches and includes an S Hook on one end of the chain for easy attachment to your tow vehicle. The safety chain has a 7,000 lb minimum breaking strength rating and a chain thickness of 5/16 inches. The chain portion of the chain is either bolted or welded directly to the trailer, and the S Hook will attach to your truck's tow hitch.
