Description

This is a Zinc Coated Linchpin with a 7/16" diameter. Although you could use it for securing anything with a 7/16" diameter hole, the most common use case on a trailer for this part is going to be locking the Coupler Latch in place, so that it doesn't come undone unexpectedly while towing. Once you place the linchpin through whatever application you are using it for, you simply fold the ring portion down to keep it in place.

A zinc plated linchpin of this size would typically be used on smaller or medium duty Trailer Couplers. The zinc finish is great for giving you a lost lasting product with an attractive appearance.
