This Hot-Dipped Galvanized U-Bolt Kit is designed to mount your leaf springs to your 2 x 3 inch axle or 2 x 2 square trailer axle. The 2" x 3" Axle is Common in boat trailers with a carrying capacity around 5200 lbs per axle, 2 x 3 inch axles require longer U-Bolts than typical galvanized axles. However, their are 3500 lb axles considered "drop" axles that will also have the 2 x 3 dimension that would require this leaf spring mounting kit. You can additionally use this 6 1/4" length axle mounting kit on 2" x 2" Axles using 5 Leaf and 6 Leaf trailer springs.

These U-Bolts measure 1/2 x 2 x 6 5/16 inches.

Included in the kit will be: (4) u bolts, (2) U-Bolt 4 Hole Plates, (8) Galvanized nuts and lock washers

These Leaf Spring mounting kits are perfect for boat trailers because of there hot-dipped galvanized exterior. This kit will compete both sides of (1) trailer axle. To increase the life of your galvanized hardware, Boeshields T-9 Rust and Corrosion Protection Waterproof Lubrication Spray can be applied as a barrier against corrosion.
