This oil bath trailer bearing hub kit includes new inner and outer bearings and a unitized oil seal designed specifically for heavy duty 8 lug 8,000 pound capacity trailer hubs oil bath style lubrication. Although this bearing kit has a standard #42 spindle tapered bearing combination of 1 1/4" ID by 1 3/4" ID, you will need to check your hubs to confirm that you are buying the right bearings for your specific hubs and axle capacity, as this 8k kit uses a 02475 outer bearing with an inner diameter of 1 1/4 inches, and a 25580 inner bearing with an inner diameter of 1 3/4 inches. If your hubs use the 14125A outer bearing (also 1 1/4" ID), then you will likely need something like our Trailer Wheel Bearing Kit for 8 Bolt 7,000 lb Capacity Hubs.

This kit is designed to replace just the bearings and unitized oil seal in a hub with pre-installed races, if you need to replace the races on your hubs we have a full category of Trailer Wheel Bearings and Races for separate purchase. This kit includes a unitized oil seal with a 2.250" inner diameter measurement and an outside diameter of 3.376", designed for most standard 8k trailer hubs and drums using an 8,000 lb capacity axle with #42 spindles. This oil bath seal is unitized to provide superior protection against intrusion of the elements, while also keeping all of your hub's oil within the hub and properly lubricating the bearings. This wheel bearing kit could be used on axles and hubs from a variety of manufacturers such as Dexter, Lippert, Kodiak, or others; so you will want to double check that you are replacing the same components on your specific assembly.
