Measuring Bolt Patterns:

This is a black painted steel trailer 6 bolt hub kit complete with bearings and seals sized to fit most standard 5,200 to 6,000 pound capacity 6 lug trailer axles. The bearings used are 25580 (1 3/4" Inner Diameter) and 15123 (1 1/4" Inner Diameter), which are the most common configuration that you will see used on 5,200 to 6,000 pound capacity 3 inch diameter round tube trailer axles. The hub features a black painted finish, so this is an ideal cost-effective hub replacement for utility trailers, enclosed trailers, and cargo trailers with axles that use 6 bolt trailer hubs. This hub also features the standard trailer 6 on 5 1/2 inch bolt pattern. The included bearing kit also includes two double-lip #42 3.376 Outer Diameter grease seals with inner diameters of 2 1/4 inches and 2 1/8 inches. You will only install one of the seals on your hub, just measure your axle's seal surface diameter and install the correct seal in the back bore of the hub. The 2 1/4" inner diameter seal is generally more commonly used on trailer axles, and is the size that would fit our selection of 6,000lb Capacity Round Tube Trailer Axles and Galvanized 6,000 lb Torsion Axles.

These hubs accommodate the standard 2.441 size dust caps that you would see on 6 lug 5200-6000 lb hubs. If you have an EZ lube or Accu-lube greasable zerk fitting on your spindle you would want to consider using a 2.441 Accu-Lube Dust Cap, otherwise, you would likely want to use a Standard 2.441 Trailer Dust Cap or 2.441 Stainless Steel Bearing Buddy for 6 Trailer Hubs. If you are having difficulties getting your dust caps to seat properly, you will also want to consider using one of our 2.441 Dust Cap Installation Tools, as they can make the installation process much easier and straightforward. This 6,000 lb capacity replacement hub kit is a great low-cost alternative to galvanized trailer hubs, and an ideal replacement if you need to get new hubs for your 6 bolt utility trailer or enclosed trailer, or if you wanted to keep a spare on hand in case of emergencies!
