This hot-dipped galvanized steel boat trailer hub fits 3,500 lb trailer axles, perfect for boat trailers, utility trailers, or any trailer with tapered 1 3/8 inch by 1 1/16 inch trailer spindles. This listing is for the hub ONLY, if you need a 3,500 lb bearing kit to install to your axle you can use the included add-on above or purchase the bearing kit directly here. This hub is sized to fit most 3,500 lb axles that have tapered spindles measuring 1 3/8" by 1 1/16" with seal surfaces that measure 1.72" inner diameter. This size hub is commonly seen on trailers with trailer tires ranging from 13 - 15 inches with 5 bolt wheels. This is the same hub that we use in our Galvanized Trailer Hub Kit for 3500 lb Axles.

These hubs accommodate the standard 1.98 size dust caps that you would see on 5 lug 2000-3500 lb hubs. If you have an EZ lube or Accu-lube greasable zerk fitting on your spindle you would want to consider using a 1.98 Accu-Lube Dust Cap, otherwise, you would likely want to use a Standard 1.98 Trailer Dust Cap or 1.980 Stainless Steel Bearing Buddy for 4 Bolt and 5 Bolt Trailer Hubs. If you are having difficulties getting your dust caps to seat properly, you will also want to consider using one of our 1.98 Dust Cap Installation Tools, as they can make the installation process much easier and more straightforward. The hot-dipped galvanized coating on this hub makes it a great option for boat trailers in freshwater or saltwater environments; the galvanized coating is much more resistant to corrosion and rust than a raw or painted steel hub. Keep in mind that this listing is for the galvanized hub only, you will not receive any bearings or seal if you order just the hub, so add on the bearing kit above or purchase the 3,500 lb Bearing Kit for 5 Lug Trailer Hubs if you need to replace the bearing kit on your hub.
