This trailer hub wheel bearing kit includes all of the races, bearings, and seal needed to replace and refresh the hub components on an 8 lug 8,000 pound capacity trailer hub using standard grease lubrication. Although this bearing kit has a standard #42 spindle tapered bearing combination of 1 1/4" ID by 1 3/4" ID, you will need to check your hubs to confirm that you are buying the right bearings for your specific hubs and axle capacity. This 8k kit uses a 02475 outer bearing with an inner diameter of 1 1/4 inches, and a 25580 inner bearing with an inner diameter of 1 3/4 inches. If your hubs use the 14125A outer bearing (also 1 1/4" ID), then you will likely need our Trailer Wheel Bearing Kit for 8 Bolt 7,000 lb Capacity Hubs.

This kit also comes with the matching races for each of the bearings (Race # 02420 for the outer bearing, Race # 25520 for the inner bearing), as well as a double lipped grease seal with a 2.250" inner diameter measurement and an outside diameter of 3.376". This seal is designed only for use with standard grease based hubs, if you have an oil bath hub you will need to use a separate style unitized oil seal to ensure proper lubrication and leak prevention. This wheel bearing kit could be used on axles and hubs from a variety of manufacturers such as Dexter, Lippert, Kodiak, or others; so you will want to double check that you are replacing the same components on your specific assembly. This is a great kit for replacing the internal moving parts in your 8 bolt 8,000 lb axle's hubs, integral rotors, or brake drums!
