Measuring Bolt Patterns:

This is a heavy duty trailer Brake Drum Hub for 8,000 lb capacity trailer axles that utilize standard grease lubrication, and comes with pre-pressed and installed 5/8 inch wheel studs. The drum hub fits onto 1 1/4 inch by 1 3/4 inch trailer spindles, and uses the standard 8k trailer bearing combination (1 3/4" ID Inner Bearing #25580, and 1 1/4" ID Outer Bearing #02420). This 12 1/4 inch by 3 3/8 inch Drum hub has an 8 on 6.5" bolt pattern, which is common for 8 Lug Trailer Hubs and wheels, but it's best to double check your trailer wheel or hub bolt spacing as well as confirming that your wheels are sized for 5/8 inch studs to make sure this is the hub you need. You can measure the bolt spacing on an 8 lug hub by measuring Center-to-Center on 2 studs directly across from one another. This drum hub will most commonly use a 3.376" outer diameter grease seal usually with a 2.25" inner diameter. The front bore of the hub is sized to fit either a Standard Zinc Plated 2.717 inch Trailer Dust Cap or EZ Lube / Accu-Lube 2.717 inch Dust Cap Replacement available if you wanted to add on a replacement to go with the drum hub!

Since this listing is just the drum hub you will not receive any additional components, so you can purchase the bearings and seals separately or order the full Trailer Wheel Bearing Hub Kit for 02475 x 25580 (1 1/4" by 1 3/4") for Grease Lubricated 8,000lb 8 Bolt Hubs. The installed 5/8 inch diameter lug studs will fit standard 5/8"-18 trailer lug nuts, such as the Open Style Zinc Plated Trailer Lug Nuts 5/8-18 Thread that we carry.

This heavy duty brake drum hub is black painted and is commonly seen on utility trailers with Electric Drum Brakes, or on some Freshwater Boat Trailers with Hydraulic Drum Brakes. You will want to keep in mind that even though this is an 8 bolt hub for a 1 1/4" x 1 3/4" spindle, it will NOT fit with 7,000 lb trailer hub components, you will want to make sure if you are getting replacement backing plates, dust caps, and bearings that they will be compatible with 8,000 lb trailer axles and hubs.
