Measuring Bolt Patterns:

This 7,000 lb capacity black painted Trailer Brake Drum Hub Kit features pre-installed 9/16 inch lug studs, designed to fit the common 8 Lug #42 Spindle with the included 1 3/4" ID (Bearing # 25580) and 1 1/4" ID (Bearing # 14125A) bearings. This Drum hub has an 8 on 6.5" bolt pattern, which is common for 8 Lug Trailer Hubs and wheels, but it's best to double check your trailer wheel or hub bolt spacing to make sure this is the hub you need. You can measure the bolt spacing on an 8 lug hub by measuring Center-to-Center on 2 studs directly across from one another. This drum hub features larger 9/16 inch diameter wheel studs that will fit standard 9/16"-18 trailer lug nuts, such as the Open Style Zinc Plated Trailer Lug Nuts 9/16-18 Thread that we carry. The drum will also utilize standard sized 2.717" dust caps for 8 bolt hubs, we have a range of different standard style dust caps, Accu-Lube style dust caps, and Bearing Buddies that are compatible with this 8 lug drum hub. This kit includes both the inner and outer bearings for your axle spindle, as well as two sizes of trailer grease seals to fit your specific axle. The grease seals both measure 3.376" outer diameter, one with a 2.125" inner diameter and one with a 2.25" inner diameter; you will only need to use one of the seals on each drum, so make sure that you are measuring the axle or previous hub that you are replacing to make sure you are installing the correct sized grease seal. Most 8 lug 7,000 lb trailer axles will use the 2 1/4" ID grease seal, but it's always best to double check and confirm to get the right fit!

This brake drum hub is black painted and is commonly seen on utility trailers with Electric Drum Brakes, or on some Freshwater Boat Trailers with Hydraulic Drum Brakes.
