Measuring Bolt Patterns:

This 7,000 lb capacity trailer Brake Drum Hub features pre-pressed and installed 9/16 inch wheel studs, designed to fit the common 8 Lug #42 Spindle with 1 3/4" ID and 1 1/4" ID bearings (not included). This Drum hub has an 8 on 6.5" bolt pattern, which is common for 8 Lug Trailer Hubs and wheels, but it's best to double check your trailer wheel or hub bolt spacing to make sure this is the hub you need. You can measure the bolt spacing on an 8 lug hub by measuring Center-to-Center on 2 studs directly across from one another. This drum hub will most commonly use the 25580 (1 3/4" inner diameter) by 14125A (1 1/4" inner diameter) bearing combination, along with a 3.376" outer diameter grease seal (usually either 2.125" or 2.25" inner diameter).

Since this listing is just the drum hub you will not receive any additional components, so you can purchase the bearings separately or order the full Trailer Wheel Bearing Hub Kit for 8 Bolt Hubs. The installed 9/16 inch diameter lug studs will fit standard 9/16"-18 trailer lug nuts, such as the Open Style Zinc Plated Trailer Lug Nuts 9/16-18 Thread that we carry. The drum will also utilize standard sized 2.717" dust caps for 8 bolt hubs, we have a range of different standard style dust caps, Accu-Lube style dust caps, and Bearing Buddies that are compatible with this 8 lug drum hub.

This brake drum hub is black painted and is commonly seen on utility trailers with Electric Drum Brakes, or on some Freshwater Boat Trailers with Hydraulic Drum Brakes.
