This is a 14 Gauge Steel Diamond Plate Square Utility Trailer Fender. This style and size fender is commonly used on single axle utility trailers, such as landscaping trailers. However, this fender can be welded or bolted for use with all kinds of trailer applications. This fender size, as long as it is installed at the proper location and height, will accommodate most trailer tire sizes from 13 inch to 15 inch trailer tires. This 14 Gauge Steel Square Style Trailer Fender has the advantage of strength and durability over some other types of fenders. As seen in the pictures, this fender measures 10 inches wide, 32 inches long, and 13 inches high from the ground to the top of the fender. As far as installation of this fender, there are many ways. Both sides of this fender are slightly rounded but still present a flat surface, allowing for an easy welding surface, or even a bolt-on surface. In addition, sometimes fender brackets are welded to the trailers frame on the front and back of the fenders location. Check the measurements in the images to ensure this is the proper trailer fender for your application.

solid build quality

I haven't installed these on my trailer yet but I have 100% confidence in them so far. They are nice, thick, solid steel AND have the diamond plate pattern to the finish. I had a very hard time finding diamond plate and steel together. Most diamond plate fenders are aluminum. With steel, I'll be able to weld them to the frame of my trailer. Steel will rust so I'll be painting these a black hammered finish to match my trailer, probably using Rustoleum. The shipping was fast and the communication from Sturdybuiltonline.com has been great. I'm so happy you guys carry these fenders and I'm sure they will last for many, many years to come.

Fenders worked great! I installed them onto my boat trailer and serve as a step to get in and out. The OEM fenders were plastic and didn't hold up.

weekend worker

Excellent set of fenders. Will be mounted on a dump trailer. I wish there would be steps available to weld on to the front or back of the fender itself.

Exactly what I expected and wanted as replacement fenders for a 6X10 utility trailer. The 14 gauge steel diamond plate provided an easy weld-on sturdy fender. Would like even better if they had a welded in back/splash guard.
