This listing is for a stainless steel trailer U-bolt only measuring 1/2 inch by 3 3/8 inches by 6 1/4 inches. The stainless steel construction of the U-bolt makes it ideal for use on boat trailers, it will never rust or corrode from exposure to freshwater or saltwater, and it will stand up to the elements well on utility trailers as well. The bolt can be used for a variety of different purposes on trailers, such as securing tongues, cross members, spring sliders, or other parts of the trailer using frame plates. Installation Note:

Use of a lithium or graphite-based lubricant is recommended during installation to prevent galling. U-bolts must be tightened using hand tools ONLY and threaded on correctly. Improper threading, use of power tools, over-tightening or tightening too fast will result in galling or sticking of the U-bolt.
