This Stainless Steel Trailer Round U-Bolt is the ultimate in rust prevention. Stainless Steel U-Bolts are great for preventing rust and corrosion. These U-Bolts can be used on boat trailers or utility trailers. Check your measurements and match them up with the measurements shown in the picture for a perfect fit. Each Stainless Steel U-Bolt comes with (2) Stainless Steel Flat Washers, (2) Stainless Steel Lock Washers, (2) Stainless Steel Hex Nuts.

We offer this trailer u bolt in stainless steel as a way of replacing broken or rusted out u bolts. Typically, this size u bolt would mount around a 2 inch wide piece of framing or tubing on your trailer. In most cases, this product will replace your axle mounting u bolts on your 2 x 2 trailer axle. You would have two of them per side mounting into a 5 hole leaf spring axle mounting plate. We do offer this complete assembly in a kit, the Leaf Spring Stainless Steel U-Bolt Kit Fits 2 x 2 Axles 5 1/4 in Long would successfully mount your leaf springs and axle back together. This length would be used with a 2 x 2 axle with 3 leaf, 4 leaf, and possibly 5 leaf trailer springs. This depends upon the thickness of the leaf spring pack.

Installation Note:

Use of a lithium or graphite based lubricant is recommended during installation to prevent galling. U-bolts must be tightened using hand tools ONLY and threaded on correctly. Improper threading, use of power tools, over-tightening or tightening too fast will result in galling or sticking of the U-bolt.
