If you recently had a bearing failure on your Trailer's Knott Brand Leaf Sprung Axle you may be able to Replace the Damaged Spindle instead of buying and installing an all new Axle. Replacing the spindle can be much more cost effective and it prevents landfill or scrapyard buildup that could happen by throwing away an otherwise functional Galvanized Trailer Axle.

This Replacement Spindle is a Universal Trailer Spindle Size #84, which means it is designed for use on 5 lug Axles with a 1 3/8" Inner Bearing and a 1 1/16" inch Outer Bearing, and a 1.719" ID Grease Seal Diameter.

This Spindle has a 4-hole Brake Flange so you can install Disc or Drum Brakes to your Trailer Axle. This Spindle is also an Accu-Lube / Posi-Lube style system, meaning there is a Grease or Zerk Fitting on the end of the spindle, along with grease channels inside the Spindle Shaft so you can easily maintain your Trailer Hubs by using a Grease Gun to replace the lube in your trailer bearings.
