This Kodiak 3500lb Slip Over 5 Lug Disc Brake Kit for your trailer features the new and innovative Koda Guard Calipers. This Koda Guard Protective coating is a unique and patented technology designed to bridge the gap between Dacromet coating and stainless steel to offer an affordable option with increased corrosion protection. This coating features twice the protection of the dacromet coating. This Specific Kit is designed as an ad on to your current Idler style hubs (the standard hubs found on your trailer). The Slip Over style is intended to mount over the existing hubs studs and secure when the wheel is mounted. The Lug nuts hold the assembly in place. We also have this kit available with Galvanized Hubs if you are needing them at the time of purchase.

This Kit is for use with your standard 3500 lb Trailer axle and mounts to your 4 Hole Brake Flange. In order to use the Slip Over style of Kodiak Trailer Rotor, you must have 14 inch wheels or greater, it will not not mount in 13 inch wheels. Using Kodiaks Slip Over Rotors will add about 1/2" to the over length of your Axle/Tire and wheel Assembly. This means that the axle with Slip Over brakes will extend 1/4" further than the Axle without brakes (on a tandem axle set up), which is not an issue and will not cause any problems.

This Kit includes:

(2) Kodiak Koda Guard Coated 225 Calipers with Stainless Steel Backed Brake Pads Pre-Installed, also includes (4) Stainless Steel Kodiak Slide Pin Caliper Bolts, (2) Dacromet Coated Slip On Caliper Mounting Brackets, and (2) Dacromet Coated 5 Lug 5 on 4 1/2 Slip Over Kodiak Rotors as well as an instruction manual for installation

We additionally would recommend as an Add On, the required Caliper Bracket mounting bolts available to under the title of the listing in either Zinc Plated or Stainless Steel.
