KNOTT AUTOFLEX 3,750lb 5 Lug Boat Trailer Torsion Axle Galvanized 94 Inch Hub Face Fits 80-inch Wide Trailers

This 3,750lb Galvanized Boat Trailer Axle has a V-Bend in the center for clearance with your Boat's Hull and is designed to fit an 80 inch wide I-Beam Trailer. The Hub Face (Track Measurement) on this Torsion Axle Measures 94 inches.  It comes equipped with Galvanized 5 Lug Idler Hubs and features a greasable spindle, along with the standard 1.98 inch Accu-Lube Style Dust Cap so you can easily add grease to the Bearings.  It also has a standard 4 Hole Brake Flange for installing Trailer Disc Brakes, and measures 88 inches from Brake Flange to Brake Flange, and 82.5 inches to the Outside of the Torsion Mounting Bracket.  The Starting Angle of this Torsion Style Boat Trailer Axle is 30 Degrees Down. Torsion Bar Axles are perfect for Salt Water Boat Trailers because they last longer than Leaf Springs which quickly turn to rust.

The hubs are included pre-installed on this Torsion Axle.  The Trailer Hubs use a standard 3.5k-3.75k Capacity Bearing Combination, with a 1 3/8-inch inner bearing (Bearing Number L68149) and a 1 1/16-inch outer bearing (Bearing Number L44649).  The Seal Size for this galvanized hub is 1.72 (or 1.619). The Boat Trailer Hub uses the standard size lug nuts for trailer hubs and wheels, ½”x20, and the bolt pattern measures 4.5 inches.  The axle/hub does not include brakes, but there is a standard 4 hole brake flange (2 7/8 inches center to center) on the Torsion Arm so you can mount disc brakes to it, or swap out the hub to drum if you prefer.

This pre-installed hub is already greased with a Lithium Based Grease.  Additional Lithium Grease may be applied before use.

This Axle Requires A 80-Inch Wide, I-Beam Trailer (Measured Outside to Outside) for proper fitment.

This Torsion Axle Does not include the mounting hardware, however, we have (4)  ½ x 1 ½ inch Stainless Steel Mounting Bolts  as a selectable Add-On to this product if needed.

New Mounting Holes May need to be drilled in order to install the new axle.
