Hot Dipped Galvanized U-bolt measuring 3/8"" x 1 9/16" x 2 1/2", Used to hold on various brackets and upright guides on boat trailers. Includes galvanized nuts, lock washers, and flat washers.

Inside Width:1 9/16”

Inside Length: 2 1/2”

You would most commonly use this exact size U-Bolt when mounting 1 1/2" Square Guide Poles to an I-Beam trailer frame. The Width of this U-Bolt and Length are perfect for going around the Guide Pole, and through the bottom or top of the I-Beam. This would require drilling holes to outfit the U-Bolt.

I ordered 10 pieces of the Sq U Bolt and all was good except for the last one, the nut would not thread on because the last thread was damaged, I was able to run a button die over it but it did expose some of the steel under the Galvanized coating.

Just right

I looked a long time for a U-bold with these dimensions that would fit around my ladder rack on top of my van. I was really hoping to get the same size only in 5/16 or 7/16 size bolt, but these work good. Stainless steel would have been great too, but I didn't see any here, or maybe they were too expensive.
