This is a Hot Dipped Galvanized U-bolt measuring 1/2" x 2 1/16" x 4 5/16", Used to hold on various brackets on boat and utility trailers. Includes galvanized nuts, lock washers, and flat washers.

This U Bolt can have a variety of uses in the trailer world. However, we most likely see it mounting the trailers leaf springs to a 2 inch square trailer axle. These 2" Square tubed axles are most common on boat trailers, but can also be seen on utility trailers as well. You would see two of these U Bolts per side, mounting through a 5 Hole Leaf Spring Plate. Check the length of mounting u bolt required to make sure this size is right for your set up.

Great for anything

Used these on a piece of homemade farm equipment and they worked exceptionally well. Very solid u-bolts and the dimensions were a perfect fit on a 2" x 2" piece of steel square tubing toolbar.

U bolts You need.

I looked All Over for this size u bolt. These are the right size for bunk brackets. Can’t be Beat for the Quality and price. And my order was delivered in three days!! Called on Monday had them Wednesday!!

boat restorer

Good price, good quality

Hot-dip galvanized, should hold up better than those originally on trailer. Best price I could find on the 'net, especially since price included nuts and washers.

U-Bolts

I got the U-bolts today and installed in my truck. I have a 56 Chevy pickup that a previous owner took out the blocks between the springs and the axle to lower it, but instead of getting shorter U-bolts, he used the same ones. So, every time I hit a bump the blocks hit the frame. I called a local place about them, and they said it would be 'about $30 for two' Thanks again for the great price and speedy delivery. I'll definitely keep you in mind if I ever need anything for my trailer.
