Dutton-Lainson Boat Trailer Jack DLX 1500lb Capacity Swivel Style Bolt On

Purchased this to replace 13yo Dutton-Lainson 1000lb jack. Older jack functioned perfectly, but plastic handle became brittle, and wheel bracket bent just enough to cause concern. Looked at fancier aluminum jacks but chose DL again due to long service of previous jack and just seems heavier duty than aluminum. Wanted the 8” independent swivel wheel, reinforced wheel bracket, higher weight capacity, and additional 4inch tongue height this jack provided. Bang for the buck, the DLx jack delivers, and am very pleased. Very well built, inner sleeve tube is beefier, and has no slop or wiggle like previous jack. Raises boat higher and all rain water drains out leaving deck bone dry. Swivel wheel works as advertised and better design than wheel attached to inner sleeve tube. Wheel doesn’t ride on bearings but rather a greased nylon/polymer type disk. Works great and virtually maintenance free. Search for best price brought me to Sturdybuilt. Part number 22215 from Sturdybuilt different than manufacturer 22210 as well as other sellers. Dutton-Lainson confirmed Sturdybuilt is a vendor and they ship to them in bulk. Part number is different probably due to packaging, as is done for some name brand tools. Savings in fancy unnecessary packaging is passed on to customer.. Jack came complete with all parts and arrived very well packaged. Tracking package was suspect and had to call. No one knew exactly where it was, but it did arrive on promised date. No fancy box or instructions and worth the approximate $30 saved. Manual and parts list available from manufacturer website.
