This is a threaded replacement trailer hub cap for 6 lug Vortex trailer hubs used on 6,000 lb capacity axles. Dexter Marine (previously Tie Down Engineering) manufactures Vortex trailer hubs with threaded ends, rather than press-in style dust caps, so this cap is designed to replace those used in their thread style front bore. This thread cap is made specifically for the Vortex brand hubs, so we cannot guarantee its use on a different brand of threaded trailer hub. It would be recommended to verify that your trailers axle and hub assembly are Dexter or Tie Down Engineering brand, and that the hub is a Vortex-style hub. You will receive a new black Vortex Dust Cap, as well as a new O-ring to ensure that your hub assembly stays sealed. If you have a broken, missing, or damaged dust cap on your 6-lug Dexter / Tie Down Vortex hub, this cap will get your trailer's axle setup back to optimal condition!
