This Demco 21,000 lb capacity primer finish trailer coupler is a sturdy and heavy-duty weld-on coupler for your straight tongue trailer. The coupler accepts a 2 5/16 inch trailer ball and mounts to a 3-inch wide trailer tongue, making it a great fit for a variety of different trailer types. The heavy-duty steel coupler has a primed steel finish that allows for easy welding and resistance to corrosion, making this a suitable coupler for land trailers and boat trailers alike. This channel-mounted style of coupler is typically seen on trailers with electric over hydraulic braking systems or electric braking systems, as they will not require the use of a moving surge actuator to engage the brakes.
