This Bow Ratchet System is ideal for boaters needing to secure the Bow of their boat to their trailer tongue for added security on short and long trips. Just as you secure the rear of your Boat with transom straps, securing the bow of the boat is also ideal. The U-Bolt included will mount to 3" x 3" and 3" x 4" Trailer Tongues. The U-Bolt Mounts the Bracket, then the Ratchet strap is hooked to the Bracket and the Bow Eye from your boat. This system features a 5,000lb Breaking strength and almost 2,000lb working load. The U-Bolt and Mounting Plate are Galvanized for corrosion protection as they are typically left mounted to the trailer. The Ratchet would then be removed when the boat is being launched.
