Description

Do you need to replace a swivel top bunk bracket on your boat trailer? If you're worried about getting a replacement that will completely and accurately support the weight of your boat, a Double U Bolt Bunk Bracket is a great solution. Easily swap out a single U Bolt Bunk Bracket to a Double U Bolt Swivel Top Bracket and get the added strength and reliability you want, without needing to worry about your bunks failing. Bunk Brackets are not weight rated, because they are only a piece of many different parts which come together to support the weight of your boat. A Bunk bracket could have a weight rating that supports your boat, but that doesn't mean the U Bolts, the Bunk board, or the Crossmember can each support the weight of the boat. For this reason, if you have a larger boat, or are otherwise unsure, it's best to err on the side of 'too much support' than risking not having enough.

Your Boat Trailer may already have Double U Bolt Bunk Brackets installed, in which case you should definitely replace them with similar a Bunk Bracket like this one. If you decide the Height of your Double U bolt Brackets should be shorter or longer, this same Bracket is offered in 10", 12", and 15" styles.

The Hot Dipped Galvanized Coating will ensure a long use time for these brackets, even in harsh Saltwater Environments. The Bracket measures just under 12" Tall,. and with the rest of the necessary hardware installed (not included) will support your Bunk Boards about 12" up from the bottom of this bracket.

This is just the Bracket Itself, so you can purchase exactly the part that needs replacing, but typically this Bracket is paired with a Galvanized Swivel Top Angle, (2) 1/2" Galvanized Trailer U Bolts, and a 1/2" Mounting Bolt and Hardware. If you need to replace some of these pieces, you can pick out which ones you need, but if you're looking to replace all of them, we offer a ready-made kit with this same Bracket and all of its needed hardware (minus the U Bolts, the size of which depends on your trailer crossmember size).
