This boat trailer bearing buddy bra cover is designed to fit the 1.980 bearing buddies (fits most 4 lug or 5 lug hubs). This is part number 19B. This cover slips over the end of your bearing buddy to help keep it clean and prevent grease from slinging all over your wheel. The addition of the Bra to your Trailer buddy helps keep the blue indicator ring free of dirt, which can clog it and prevent it from working properly. The Trailer Buddy Protector will work its best when used with the product.

Answer: While the Bra is not necessary for the Trailer Bearing Buddy to operate, the installation of the bra onto the Trailer Buddy will additionally keep dirt and grime from impacting the Grease Fitting and the indicator ring. Also, this bra provides an extra moisture barrier.

A man that enjoys boats

For the price listed on this website, it's the best available. Now my only nitpick is the website. I wish they would add that this is for one 1 bra. Instead of other websites where you order by the pair, you have to add 2 to your cart. I made the mistake and had to order (with shipping) twice. Note though that with two orders and shipping, it still was cheaper than most other places. I would buy again from Sturdy Built.
