Description

This trailer lighting adapter is used to convert a tow vehicle that has a GM OEM connection to a trailer that uses the 7 RV. This particular connector is a 7-way RV blade socket and is designed to mount on the vehicle side for connection. Additionally, this adapter features a twist-in USCAR base to connect to a twist-in USCAR plug. The trailer uses the larger 7RV (or 7-blade) connector because it needs the extra wires to run all of the lights, electric brakes, and the charging for the breakaway battery. Using this adapter will allow functionality for your taillights, turn signals, brake lights, backup or reverse lights, electric trailer brakes, and a 12-volt battery as well as a connection for the ground wire.
