This Heavy Duty Steel Ball mount is designed to allow for a 4 inch drop, or a rise of 2 inches, depending on how you mount the ball into the 1 inch shank hole. This mount has a carrying capacity of 6,000 pounds and has a 8 1/4 inch long shank to put some space between the truck and trailer. With a 2 by 2 inch square shank, it will fit into typical 2 inch truck receiver tubes.
