This particular steel ball mount has the option of a 4 inch drop and a 2 inch rise, depending on what side you mount the ball. The ball you install must have a shank diameter of 1 inch to fit the hole. All our ball mounts allow for locking using a 5/8 hitch pin. This particular ball mount has a 10 1/4 inch shank to allow for more space between the truck and trailer, and mounts perfectly into 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tubes.
